Anyone that knows me knows that I love to read. As a child my dream was to own a library like the one the Beast gifts Belle in Beauty and the Beast and not going to lie, that’s still my dream!

Well here’s a list of a few books that I have recently enjoyed reading…

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by JK Rowling – If you have read my Scotland post then you know how much I LOVE HP! I read this book in about two days. I just couldn’t put it down! I really enjoyed jumping back into the HP world. It isn’t like all the other HP books as this was written as a play so be ready to jump quickly from scene to scene. I wish it was longer and read more like a novel but overall I thoroughly enjoyed reading this new edition to the HP universe.

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon – So I cheated a little as I watched the show first before reading the book but the book is just as great! I’m a bit of a slow reader so this book did take me quite a while to finish but to my defense it is 627 pages long. The setting for this book was Scotland so that just made it even more special to me. I really loved the story line, it truly is original. It was a great read and I’m currently reading the second book and I can’t wait for the third season!

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes – This book was everything! It made me cry and at times laugh. It was an easy read and I just couldn’t put it down. If you’re in need of a good love story this one is for you.

People Who Eat Darkness by Richard Lloyd Parry – My friend recommended this book to me and it was captivating! It’s based on the true story of a young woman who vanished in Japan. It was written by a reporter that was covering this story who got close to the family of the missing woman. I don’t usually gravitate to these types of books but it definitely was a page turner and it kept me intrigued the whole way through.
